We made these superheroes cookies specially for my nephew (Claudia's little cousin), however my little boy have been eyeing on these guys since i first put the first flood of icing on them lol :P
I know there are so many different version of these superheroes and they have been done so many different times before...however this is the first time we are making these guys and it was quite a learning experience :)
It was quite challenging but we were happy to try it out and learned a lot from it :)
So we decided to stick with the four superheroes: Batman, Captain America, Ironman & Hulk.
We didn't get a chance to take tutorial photos for all of them but we did managed to get a simple series of photos of Ironman :)
Its pretty simple to make, the trickiest part is probably getting the right consistency red icing so that we wont get any craters on them as there are a few small areas to fill.
Firstly using an edible marker, we marked off the areas where we want to put the red icing. Then let the red icing dry fora few hours. The second step is to fill the yellow fave, arms and legs with yellow 20 second icing. Then lastly piped the little details such as black eyes & mouth as well as the white dot on his chest.
My boy's fave superhero is the green Hulk. My dad happen to be here when we were working on these cookies and his fave is Captain America. My personal fave is the Ironman as he is pretty cute and easy to make lol :P
Here are the four of them together in their superheroes background :)
I also love seeing them in plain primary colours
My mum & dad will be bringing these home and personally deliver them to my nephew :)
We really hope he will love them ;-)
