This was inspired by Sweetopia's blog post tutorial, we downloaded the template and bought the tools cookie cutters from eBay. This is what we ended up with :)
We downloaded the template for the toolbox from Sweetopia's blog post, HERE.
We them with made our usual honey cookies, and these are the pieces for the toolbox
Here is the four sides after the icing are completely dry and ready to assemble. We have to apply generous outline consistency icing on each side as a glue to put them together.
Step 1: Use yellow medium consistency icing to create the handle
Step 2: then add the grey icing for the top part of the hammer and let it dry for a few minutes
Step 3: Outline the hammer and add the thick part of the hammer with more flood icing.
Step 1: Use medium consistency blue icing to flood the handle.
Step 2: Use grey medium consistency icing to add the top part of the screwdriver & let it dry.
Step 1: Use medium consistency icing to create the handle
Step 2: Do the alternate part of the pliers with grey medium consistency icing - see picture below
Step 3: Flood the reminder of the area with the same grey icing and let it dry, then add the middle pin with the same grey icing in the middle - see picture below.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there :)
