Hey Sweet Peeps,

I'm still very much in awe and inspired from my Japan holiday so I thought I would share a very simple tutorial on how to make a Japanese inspired Sakura Flower Fan 🌸

This is what the final cookie will look like...
Picture
This cookie design is much simpler than others i have seen around. I've decoded to keep it as simple as possible so it will be easy to follow and hopefully it will encourage you to try creating them 😋👍💖

I have also included a bonus tutorial inside of how to make your own fondant flowers to decorate your cookies 🌸🌸🌸

Its very easy to make and I generally make extras and keep them in my storage box so that they are ready to use whenever I need them...it's a very handy tip and in this video you will see my fondant storage box with all sort of cute fondant flowers inside it. So after watching this video you can do the same and create any flower fondant you want to decorate your cookies 😉💕

So check out the video tutorial below and leave me a comment either on my YouTube channel or in here if you have any questions about anything 😉💕
If like this video please leave a thumbs-up and I invite you to SUBSCRIBE to my channel as it is through your support that I will able to make more videos. THANK YOU SO MUCH 😘

Hey sweet peeps, Easter is coming and I've been thinking of new Easter egg designs that has not been done before, so this is my modern spin of Easter eggs as my daughter loves anything 'geometrics' right now...and she told me that this is "on trend" LOL 😂😜

Here is the finished result of the Geometric Easter Egg decorated cookies

My video tutorial will also show you how to make royal icing flowers, which I know some of you have been asking to see a tutorial for. So if you have been wanting to learn how to make the royal icing flowers like the ones on this Geometric Eggs then I hope this video tutorial is useful for you 😉👍💖

To make the royal icing flowers, you will need a flower nail and cut out baking paper or parchment paper, like this one...
Picture
Use a little bit of double sided tape to stick the baking paper on top - please watch the video to see all the detailed instructions :)
Image description
You will also need Piping Tip# 101 (roses tip) - see photo below, and pipe the icing with the thicker/wider ends on the center of the flower nail.
Picture
You will be able to see the step by step tutorial on my video below (scroll down at the bottom of this post), let me show you what the flowers look after like in the photos for a clearer view :)
Picture
When they have dried overnight I usually store all my royal icing flowers in my special container - see picture below. I might be a bit OCD but I really like them organised into their own little space :)

So if you want to know how to create these gorgeous geometric eggs for Easter, please watch the detailed step by step video tutorial below
Hope this video is helpful and will encourage you to create your own decorated Easter egg cookies this Easter holiday :)

Hey sweet peeps, this is PART 2 of the Disney Princesses cookie video tutorial series.
In this video we have Aurora (Sleeping beauty), Belle & Princess Leia

They are in Tsum Tsum style/design, if you are not familiar with what 'Tsum Tsum' are I would suggest that you do a quick google search and you'll find a whole bunch of stackable toys based on all sorts of different characters.

I just love that these princesses are amazing role models for our girls. They teach young girls great characteristics and values to have 💕

I thought I would share what these lovely ladies have taught us from their stories 💖💙💜

Belle: “People think I’m odd, so I know how it feels to be different.” The most important lesson we learn from Belle is never judge a book by its cover 💛
Picture
Aurora: Sleeping beauty teaches girls to dream and that love is the most powerful force in the world 💜
Picture
Princess Leia: She is strong, brave, intelligent, and a great leader. She also does her best to help others even at great personal risk. Everyone around her looks to her for strength and leadership 💗

If you like these Tsum Tsum Princess, here is the video tutorial on how to make them:

I hope this tutorial helps, and if this video inspired you to try making these decorated cookies we would love to hear from you 💛❤️💗

As usual, I always listed all the tools and resources that i use in my videos in my video description box, so if you ever wonder where to get some stuff that you see in my video (like where to get the cutters or stencils etc) be sure to go check my description box and find the links there.

Hey Sweeties,

I received a special request to create a very adorable hand-drawn Mickey Mouse cookie design and of course we can't refuse 😃

So I thought i would share a video tutorial on how we create these Mickey Mouse Cookies by simply using an edible pen/marker. For those of you who doesn't have a projector, this video will show you how to create these adorable cookies using a plastic template instead of using a projector.

Before I post the video tutorial here, i just have to say that I always listed all the tools and resources that i use in my videos in all my YouTube video description box, so if you ever wonder where to get some stuff that you see in my video (like where to get the cutters or stencils, edible markers etc) be sure to go check my description box and you will find the links there 😉

Here are a couple of photos to show you the finished result of the cookies. This is what Mickey will look like when you finished hand-drawing and colouring him, isn't he adorable? 😊 Ohh I just have to add that it has taken all my willpower to not fill in all the gaps in the colouring process! LOL 😂

Also just a note to say that I always mark the designs in the cookies with an edible pen and I use a Pico projector as a guide to draw the areas in the cookies.

Hey sweet peeps, firstly i want to apology for the lack of update on this blog as I realised that it has been sadly neglected this year. So I thought i would do a quick update here on what we have been up to :)

We have been focusing on creating video tutorial this year and we are proud to say that we finally launched our YouTube channel! Yay!! *happy dance*

There has been a lot of behind the scene preparation work to get our channel off the ground, and we are really happy to say that it is growing steadily and our follower numbers are increasing :)

Because of the time that it takes to create and edit the video tutorials, we are not able to continue to do both photo tutorials here as well as video tutorials at the same time.....i really wish we can do both, but the reality is that we just don't have enough time in our day to fit in everything that we would like to do.
We are constantly juggling everything and achieving that balance is tricky to say the least! :)

At the end of the day we have to decide on what we want to do going forward, and we have decided to continue creating video tutorials as really enjoyed creating them and we feel that we can people can learn more clearly by watching our videos than from our photo tutorials.

So from now on, we will start sharing our video tutorials here as well as showing you what the cookies will look like in a photo.

Hope you will learn a lot from our videos and feel free to come visit us in our other social networks via Instagram, Facebook or YouTube.

Here is our most recent video tutorial on how to make Sesame Street decorated cookies.

Enjoy & happy decorating!

xoxo
