We also made another small cookie gift for Mrs. C, she works in the school office and she made sure that the school runs smoothly everyday. The kids might not have a direct involvement with her as she doesn't teach them, but she works hard to ensure the day to day running of the school. So we thought it would be nice to make her a small gift to say that "we really appreciate all you do". This is what we gave her and eventho its only a small gift she told us that it means a lot to her :) This is our first attempt at making a flower bouquet, i told my hubby that sometimes flowers can be a waster of money as they wither and die quickly....well this is my kind of flower, the sweet one that we can eat and enjoy :) Its actually really easy to make as we used a royal icing transfers, which means the red roses were pre-made and ready to use in our container where we keep all our royal icing transfers. Once we placed all the red roses randomly on top of the cookie, we add a few dots of pink and white and do a little squiggly lines on top to make it look like a flower bud - see picture below. And lastly add the stems and the leaf randomly to fill the gaps. Here is what they look like after we packaged them up. I quite like the use of this see thru plastic container. Its just the right size for a small cookie gift pack without costing too much :) Hope this little gift brings her joy and made her day brighter ;-)
