Tis week we will continue to post Halloween cookies until the actual Halloween day this weekend. So as promised we will be going over how to make Count Dracula cookies. They are made with the same steps as we did Frankenstein monster cookies, but i thought i'll give you a quick run down of how to make them as well as giving you a visual of the step by step tutorial :) These cookies were part of the halloween batch that we made and because we dont have a cookie cutter we handcut them using a paper template. They are a very simple shape so its reasonably easy to hand-cut using a sharp knife. To decorate Count Dracula cookie, we started off with the hair, fill the hair area using 20 second black icing and tip#2. When the hair is dry we add the purple icing for his face area. Let it dry for a few hours. When the purple icing is dry its time to add the details on his face, add his eyes, mouth, pink cheeks and mouth. We waited about 10-15mins until the black line for his mouth to dry and then we piped the white fangs with white icing and add the dripping blood with red edible marker. Here are the Count Dracula in closeups :) Tomorrow we will go over how to make the bats and how to turn them into Bat Cookies on a stick, so kids can eat them as cookie pops. In the mean time have a fantastic week! ;-)
